Exfoliate your skin at least once a week to reveal a lighter shade
Did you know that in your 20s your skin cells turn over every 28 days, but when approaching your 30s and 40s it slows down drastically to every 40 days.
What this means is that Dead skin cells pile up, minimizing your skins brightness to make it look dull and pale. So to avoid this regular exfoliating of the skin is recommended and at night as opposed to in the morning
A very good ingredient that promotes the production of new skin cells is Plantago Major Leaf (Plantain) extract, it helps fight free radicals, it’s a superb anti-irritant which helps improve wound healing, while it soothes and moisturizes the skin.
Eat healthy
Frequent drinking of alcohol and caffeine dehydrates the skin, and excess sugar breaks down collagen and elastin overtime thereby making the skin dull and pale. Taking a break from alcohol, caffeine and sugar can restore your skin’s glow again.
Instead eat more of veggies and drink lots of water; they help balance your body’s PH levels to help you achieve your desired glow.
Use a very good Sunscreen Lotion daily
Exposing your skin to the sun causes dullness, acne, hyperpigmentation/discolouration etc. So to achieve and maintain a glowing skin you need to use a very good sunscreen lotion like EXTRASHADE Daily Defense Hydrating Lotion for a healthy and great looking skin, this will also help provide safety from the environmental hazards of the winter season.

Use gentle cleansers only
We would recommend you use non soap products to wash away dirt from your face without irritating your skin. Soap based products are harsh on the face but good for the other parts of the skin, the facial skin and other skin parts of our bodies are not the same. The facial skin is usually more delicate and tender than the body skin, so make sure you are using a gentle cleanser on your face.
Lastly and most importantly know your skin type
It would be heart breaking if you use products meant for oily skin on normal skin and vice versa, so knowing your skin type is the first step in ensuring that you achieve your desired skin glow.
