My chest is lighter than my face. So I have to get a few. And I’m redder in the summer and golden in the winter. 🤷🏽‍♀️💆‍♀️🤦‍♀️

This was very informative! I have the problem that my face is MUCH darker than my neck. If I match my neck, my face looks ghostly. I never really know what shade to pick. I usually just match my face, but the difference is obvious. I've tried bronzing my neck, which helps a bit. I may try to find a shade that bridges the 2. Thanks for a great tutorial!

NC = neutral cool —> for people with WARM undertones
NW = neutral warm —> for people with COOL undertones

It’s backwards but the way a MAC employee explained is that since I’m warm (NC42/NC44), it’s a slight coolness (the C) in the foundation that’ll slightly neutralize (the N) without making me grey & washing me out.

As an intermediate make up lover, I still love these type of videos. Refreshers are always good to look at IMO because sometimes we get so comfortable in our routine, we forget some basics. Thank you for the video. Looking forward to the series.

Also, could you do a video on how to apply highlight (the glow)? I’ve never mastered it. I always put it on too thick & have a hard time blending it. Thanks.

It’s crazy bc your skin tone is golden/caramel but your undertones look pink/yellow undertone. But, it could be the lighting.

NC means Not Cool in Mac so they have it reversed. NC45 is a warm shade. Other then that great tips!
