The truth about Ultherapy | Alice Hart-Davis

Ultherapy is a non-surgical, FDA-cleared treatment for lifting and tightening the skin on the neck and chin and eyebrow – but it has a bit of a reputation for being painful and expensive and some people claim it makes faces look worse not better. I’ve tried it three times over the past five years and I know that it can work really well.
So this is me talking about the treatment, the controversy around it, what it feels like, and showing clips of when I last went for treatment, last year, with Esther Loughran at https://www.cosmeticskinclinic.com/ in London.
If you’ve got any questions, stick them here and I’ll get back to you

You do know you can take herbs and supplements to stop aging of the face? Literally essential oils and other natural herbs can fix sagging? Youโ€™re stimulating collagen in the dermal layer of skin. Aging is caused by loss of collagen & elastin deep in the skin. Why? Because of nutrition & stress levels. Iโ€™ve seen a 115 year old not have a wrinkle. This man from Arizona who was the oldest man in America but he died. You can actually find him on YouTube. He ate fruits and veggies and his skin was smooth no wrinkles. His face actually was glowing. He looked about 80 years old. Jade rollers help with essential oils and stop messing with these cheating narcissistic ass dudes which can age you and just get fillers cuz this is a hot mess. Alice Your skin is beautiful btw ๐Ÿ˜‰

They measure the "results" in millimeters because a millimeter is too small to see with the naked eye. Until they can measure the results in 1/4 of an inch or 1/2 inch per treatment don't waste your money.

My face was very badly damaged by two treatments of laser genesis. The treatment was so high of an intense heat going into the tissues beneath the skin, that it caused aptosis of the fat in my face. My face looks completely different, and not in a good way. My cheeks and my cheek bone area was completely melted away and it left me with loose skin that hung around the jaw area and the neck. my forehead was also left with nothing but skin and bone and my temple area shrank away where the cheekbone used to go up to the temple. I also began to be able to fill my whole jaw bone especially the joint below the ear became really sharp and overall it was just really shocking to me. I also now have sunken in cheeks where the cheekbones used to be plump and when I smile it piles up the flesh with deep wrinkles and dents, and I also developed deep wrinkles in my forehead when I smile or make expressions. I never had any of these problems before. The deflation of my cheeks also causes the fat pads under my eyes to bulge, and I can look like I have puffy eyes even when I don't. My face became very flat, and I looked about 15 years older than I did before the treatments happened. The damage was cumulative, as it continued to change for about nine months after the second treatment, since the fat cells were now dead and working their way out of my face. In the last two years I've had to have fillers three times. I never ever wanted to put needles in my face, but I had no idea that Laser Genesis could be so harmful to the beautiful curves and fullness in my face. I'm a thin person, but I had nice facial features until I was left with mostly just bone and skin and muscle. I am doomed to have to pay for expensive fillers for the rest of my life, as my face continues to collapse, and then I have to prop it up again about every six months. I miss seeing myself in the mirror, I never would have done this on purpose if they had warned me. I try to warn others but they try to lie about this procedure to get people to come in and pay for it. They don't tell people about the risks.

Doesnt work. Had it done in Beverly Hills by top Lasky office technician. No result. Nothing. Then she did Thermage…for free because you could see Ultherapy had no result, still nothing. Save your money for a decent SMAS facelift.

About her age โ€” late 50s โ€” she looks very youthful for that age, but she has had a lifetime of aesthetic treatments. So for the less privileged or self-obsessed person, who has put a bit of age on his or her face, a treatment like this is not going to be very effective. Just be aware of that. I have had many types of laser treatments on my skin over the years, but no deep-layer stuff like this, and certainly no surgery. My understanding is that for real and lasting lift on an older face and neck, you need surgery.

It must be said that this woman is young. She does not have any serious age showing on her face or neck yet. I want to see this on an older person.

Too much talking before you get to the subject. Iโ€™m surprised that this woman put all that money into multiple treatments on her face, but has not addressed her English teeth. Simple fix, that.

I looked at the pamphlets in the dermatologist office and I could see zero change in the way the advertisement looked. I looked into it .. saw the price and said no itโ€™s not worth it. Wow people can just come out with machines that do next to nothing charge thousands of dollars and get away with it? Well I guess itโ€™s America (not sure about other countries ) if you can get away with it they will let you … have you or anyone you know ever tried injections to dissolve fat ? I was thinking about doing this little pocket of fat underneath my. Chin area … let me know if you know of anything .. thanks so much โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ

As a man I had it done and it was around $3,000…I take phenomenal care of my skin, but this procedure did NOTHING! The same with Lipo-Freeze…Then the Dr said: โ€œOh didnโ€™t I tell you? You actually donโ€™t notice until youโ€™ve had several treatments. Iโ€™m my opinion the initial results are just the swelling and nothing more.

Using Valium or benzodiazepines prior to a procedure is perfectly fine! You arenโ€™t going to get addicted by using it properly! Addictive if used long term or used by addicts! I hate it when people tell you not to use these meds! Used as directed and short term are beneficial!

I had full face and neck. I have a very high pain tolerance and still found it to be extremely painful with residual pain in forehead and along jawline for nearly a month afterward. No noticeable results. Also had swelling and bruising. I paid $4600, at a discounted price. I do not recommend Ultherapy.. If you are thin, try gaining just a few pounds. I added 6 pounds and look much better. Natural fat can do wonders. I don't like the idea of fillers and by the way, if you do have fillers, Ultherapy will melt them away and you'll need to be reinjected. At least this is what I was told prior to procedure.

I just had it 2 hours ago. It was not painful at all most of the time – but the jawbone treatment was in fact kind of awful. I find it difficult to wait now for weeks or months to see the final result…. ๐Ÿ™

Itโ€™s for the rich. If you have $3000.00 to spare and like pain then go for it. In my opinion it is nothing but a money trap. $3,000.00 is unjustifiably expensive for no to little results.

I prefer the non-surgical treatments. After having a surgical treatment to lift lower face, I was disappointed…not with the results, but the gathering of Tumes'fluids which would not drain. Lumpiness formed under the chin, like swelling and a snakes uneven skin. @ lymph node lumps developed under the chin. Still waiting for the area to heal. What a mistake going for the quick lift. I picked the wrong doctor. The Assistant doctor applied the locaine fluids, and used too much, which was evident after the procedure. Of course there was no admission on their behalf. They just ride over you and the errors they made and on the the next client. Hey, go non-surgical. Don't risk an inexperienced person applying Tum fluid, then afterwards, the area needs draining. No good. Do they care, seems they move on fast to next patient. So my experience was the lymph node lumps after the procedure. Not happy.
