Hi Angie. Thanks for this information. I started using Colorscience 3 in 1 eye tint which contains iron oxides as well. I’ve seen (Dr. Dray) that the iron oxides protect against visible light.

Thank you very much for this detailed information. I was looking for a good sunscreen (mineral one only) and thanks to you I have purchased Bare Minerals, and I am very satisfied.
Now I am going to buy tent sunscreen and I am taking into consideration two products:

    1. IT Cosmetics Anti-Aging Armour Super Smart Skin-Perfecting Beauty Fluid
    2. Exuviance Sheer Daily Protector

I will appreciate your advice very much. I have to buy it via eBay, because I live in Poland and I have no possibility to go to the market and test them. I cannot buy both :).
My skin is without wrinkles and pores, a little bit dry, a little bit sensitive and with pigmentation ( so why I have to protect it very carefully). I take a lot of care for my skin. Well, I am more than 35 years old, but not more than 40 🙂

    Thank you in advance, Stella

Hi Angie! Love your videos, I have been using sunscreen daily since I was a kid and can never go without it! I see you posted Amazon as the source for buying the EltaMD sunscreen, do you feel confident that Amazon will sell real products and not dupes? I have been reading various stories online and not sure what to do because it's the only site that ships this product to Australia! Many thanks, Sophie

So happy to have found your channel Angie. I’m a 37 year old working mom who is trying my best to be proactive in using the most effective topicals out there to avoid invasive procedures for as long as possible, although when the time comes I’m totally ok with a refresher procedure here and there. I love that you recommend luxury and drugstore products based on their performance regardless of sponsorships and YouTube hype. Your knowledge of beneficial and questionable ingredients is impressive and reassuring. I was personally drawn to your channel because you are reviewing these products honestly and specifically as they apply to women who are NOT 20 years old with perfect skin. Your honesty with products and procedures is appreciated and I always look forward to your posts. Best wishes

Do you have to use sunscreen even if you stay indoors? I live in the Canary Islands, and I do have many windows in my house, so I do get light reflected in my house. But I don't know if you need sunscreen if you do not go outdoors. Answers, PLEASE. Thank you.

I use liberal high-SPF mineral sunscreen every time I leave the house, Sunscreen makes my face looks shiny and greasy no matter which brand I use, although I'm so pale the white cast is irrelevant. So I top my sunscreen with a light layer of Becca Ever Matte primer. It mattifies my skin so well that the greasy look is gone and my makeup looks almost as good as if I didn't wear the sunscreen and lasts all day. Without this primer, my makeup would not stand a chance. It's well worth a try if you don't use sunscreen or don't use enough because of the shiny mess that ruins your makeup.

Hello, thanks for your info about all the sunscreen. I bought Exuviance Sunscreen after watching your video. It is great, the only thing I have issue (with most suncreens, not just this one) is it makes my skin look a lot lighter (white cast), so I need to limit the amount of sunscreen to little. I'm medium girl (Asian skin), so it would be nice of you can get a friend with medium skin tone to try the sunscreen with you. It would make your video a lot more informative for the medium girl out there.

Great video. I use two different sunscreens, one strictly for my face (mineral) and one for my body (chemical usually. Skin on the body is thicker and not as sensitive as the face). Chemical sunscreens really make my face burn too. I attribute it to my skincare routine of AHA/BHA and Retin A.

Not sure if you're aware of this, but I noticed on that your favorite SPF 30 sunscreen, Hydropeptide Solar Defense, makes an SPF 50 version. But it's not tinted, that's the only thing.

What do you think of the brand Badger? It contains 18.75% Zinc Oxide. The other ingredients are: sunflower oil, beeswax, sunflower vitamin E, seabukthorn fruit extract. I am only interested in the effects, not about how it might look like (I already use it myself, and I'm aware that your face gets rather "white" if you apply too much, but I don't care about that:P).

thanx for the video. just a few questions: first I can't use chemical sunscreen on my face at all bc its caused damage to my vision in the past…so I need a mineral sc every day in my face. Im using the prep step on my face and a chemical in my neck, but its getting used up v fast. is that 1/4 of a teaspoon really neccesary at mineral sc?? also i use a serum and cream usually, but I find wn I use the serum and suncream, it drags my face down…so I've been using my serum, and using the prep step as a cream and SPF? is that ok or am I wasting my serum?? bc what I've always been doing is applying SPF, then serum then cream…but u seem to have a different approach???

I love the Josie Marin sunscreen. I probably use enough for two people and I use my hair dryer on cool setting to speed up the dry time if I am having a hectic morning. I don't have any problems with my foundation but I also have dry skin. I don't wear a primer half the time because it just takes so long in the morning to get the various skin products on and let them set. I spend as much time doing that as it takes to get dressed and make coffee and let the dog out and everything else. I wish there was one product that covered everything to save some time.

I can only use mineral spf and have found the Neutrogena sheer zinc face dry touch spf 50 dries matte and looks perfect under all make up. I'll never change from that! also most days after that dries, I use a little origins a perfect world age defense skin guard and it blurs my pores and makes make up so much better! but the Neutrogena spf saved my life and my make up life!
