Hi Dr Dray, Thank you so much for your videos. They are very helpful. We tend to focus a lot on the face when it comes to sunscreen which makes sense (exposed). What body sunscreens do you recommend if you recommend using sunscreen on your body?

Which would you recommend for working outdoors? I’m super pale and just got a job working outside in Florida. I’m planning on a broad brimmed hat with SPF, SPF detachable sleeves for under my short sleeved uniform, and a chemical sunscreen followed by a mineral sunscreen but I’m not sure which ones provide the absolute best protection.

Have you tried the Image skincare prevention + spf? And if so do you think it's a good sunscreen for dry sensitive acne prone skin?

Hi Dr. Dray, I've been enjoying your videos. I just came across this video. This is just what I was looking for. I don't have peeling just dry mature skin with wrinkles and some dark spots as opposed to oily. Is there one or two products over others that I should use? Thank you.

Hi Dr. Dray, is there any other place besides Amazon where we could purchase the Elta MD tinted sunscreen? There are reviews in there stating that the products sold there are fake. Thank you so much for all the informative videos.

Grab the Vanicream 30/50 now. They are in the process of formulating a new product as their supplier's building burnt down!

Again, thank you for all your hard work. Thought you might want to check out the Suntegrity line which is a fav in the green beauty world and I know you have a lot of fans that speak green (the brand's founding comes as a result of a sad backstory but at least there is a silver lining). They only make two products that are unscented, both mineral sunscreens, one for the face that is tinted and the other for the body.…… (If anyone lives near Credo, they are very generous with their samples – but I bet they wouldn't buy anything without your stamp of approval : ) ….P.S. If you already reviewed it, apologies. Warning: It ain't cheap.

You can't put the Altruist sunscreen anywhere near your eyes. It stings, causes them to weep prolifically and turn red. That Elta MD tinted mineral is okay around the eye area.

Dr Dray!! This is so important: I ordered the Aqua Milk Mommy sunscreen on amazon and it took a whole month to arrive. When I picked up the mail, it was hot. I live in Houston too so I am worried about using the product, thinking it might not protect my skin and I cannot allow for that. How are products like these shipped to you? Do you also receive foreign sunscreens in your mail box sitting in the intense heat? Also curious what the consistency of the Mommy sunscreen is supposed to be like….. Is it like a yellowish white?

I've just found you, Dr. Dray, and I'm grateful that you share your knowledge. I have been using Retin-A practically since it was invented – 1983/84 – 0.1%. After I went through menopause, my oily skin dried out and I developed rosacea – had to cut out anything with dyes, parabens, fragrance, etc. I tried the Vanicream sunscreen and found it to be very thick – that was a while back, maybe there is a new formulation? Love Vani products, usually and only use Aquanil for washing. My beloved Elta MD – tinted, 46, no tint 46 and 40 – the "moisturizing/sunscreen" have supposedly been protecting me from the sun, and don't burn my face. However, lately, after a few hours, I come home to see that I have walking around with dry skin flakes and pilling all over my face, and even though I've put on the Elta on after my argan oil! Any solutions for that? Thank you so much!

HI Dr. Dray, my sister wanted me to ask you if it's ok to sleep with sunscreen on? I guess she has one she likes to use as a moisturizer. You already told me "no" to this next question I asked you in a previous video about damaging our skin from rubbing/pulling but my sister thinks she has damaged the skin around her eyes from years "OF RUBBING" (I mean hard rubbing from allergies)?

Thanks for the info for dry skin sunscreen! Have you considered doing a video on the affects of hard water on scalp, hair and skin? I've read articles about it making dry skin drier because of the hard minerals, that can make eczema, dandruff worse etc. Also, ways to combat this if you don't have a water softener. I've seen Pre-Shampoo products that claim to protect hair-scalp from the hard minerals not sure if it works.

Hi Doc! I have been using the Elta md tinted with complete satisfaction thinking I had found my holy grail . But wait, I got a sample of the dynamic skin recovery spf50 by Dermalogica. Holy moly! It is amazing and expensive. It’s moisturizing, smells great and leaves a pretty glow to my skin. Will I buy it? No. Have you reviewed this product?

I just ordered the Cerave AM lotion
SPF 30 you recommend while I wait for my Asian and UK sunscreens to arrive. I’m in Florida this summer and I have zero trust in the Avobenzone sunscreens I own. It’s imperative I get a good sunscreen! I literally feel like my skin is burning. It probably is! I’ve loved all the Cerave products I’ve ordered and have been using so far. I want to give this sunscreen a try in the meantime. Thanks again for all the info, Dr Dray! 😊
