โ€œTitanium dioxide and zinc oxide provide UV protection primarily via absorption of UV radiation and not through significant reflection or scattering.โ€

The biggest problem is that sunscreen only lasts so long and if I have to keep applying it over 6 hours I am going for a large container of cheaper lower spf sunscreen.

Makes white people skin look like their skin is dark skin like black people under UV. Basically, bc black people don't get sunburned with their melanin rich dark skin. The sun sees white people with sunscreen on look dark skin in the sun so the sun sees dark skin and doesn't burn them. So if sunscreen is melanin, then where does the melanin come from to make sunscreen if it's made of melanin? Unless it's a lab manufactured synthetic melanin. Hmmm! ๐Ÿค”

I find it incredibly interesting that Hawaii is banning some organic UV absorbers to protect the coral reefs, but is not doing anything about climate change that is the main cause of coral bleeching :)))

In Korea the multiply the spf number by 100 and then divide it by 60 and that is how long your dog should last

Did someone else notice that the sunscreen bottle looked purple in the uv light? Like it absorbs all that uv light so you shouldnโ€™t leave it in the sun? (Like the label tells you)

Hi! Can i ask how long sunscreen will stay in your skin in uv camera? Cause I heard that we should re-apply our sunscreen but I donโ€™t really believe that. Thanks ๐Ÿ™

So…as a "black" man…I was born with sunscreen…its called melanin, a dark brown to black pigment occurring in the hair, skin, and iris of the eye in all the people on the planet that look like me…I have NEVER worn sunscreen…I have NEVER experienced a SUNBURN? I don't know of ANYONE (in my entire family tree) that has EVER been diagnosed with skin cancer. Black Slaves worked in the HOT sun…from SUN up to SUN down…NOT ONE CASE OF SUNBURN!!!!!!! Science is beginning to tell some startling truths….

What about reflective and absorbative as designations for the two types of sunscreen? Organic has already been repurposed in grocery stores and has other government regulation designations.
