My Updated Everyday Nude Make-Up Routine | Dr Sam Bunting
Today’s video is a little demo of my latest make-up loves for an easy everyday look– all within the flattering, dewy-finish nude family to emphasise the natural tones of my skin. This is a look in constant, subtle evolution. But I now know that my best nudes aren’t too beige and aren’t too matte. Is it boring? For some, maybe. But for me, this just feels like the best version of me in a way that works for day or night, the office or even on-camera.
Products I used in the video:

Cute.. i like ur sense of humor. 👍🏽
I'm an acne sufferer, there's no way I'm using the Cerave Healing Ointment… mainly petrochemicals and mineral oils…
Dr Sam, you are against full coverage foundation. Would you do a tutorial on how to conceal rosacea? I look like a lobster unless I cover it well, and even then – if my cheeks heat-up, the makeup melts. Thanks
First time watching this channel. The sound quality is very poor and I had a difficult time understanding what she was saying. Not sure if it’s the echo in her room, her gravely voice or speaking too fast. I tried listening to another video filmed in her bathroom and the echo was worse. Perhaps a better quality audio system would help. Too bad b/c I prefer a light handed approach to makeup application, and hearing about skin care from dermatologists
Hi Dr Sam! Great video for light makeup – so rare on You Tube! I love your beautiful shirts and wish you would let us know where you get them!
Enjoyed this video,Dr Sam have you ever used Perricone No Make-Up products? Thank you
what spf did u use ??
Isnt nars tinted moisturizer with fragrance?
I luv your eyebrows
Which balm?
And what do you think about powder sunscreen as a sunscreen reapplication product? Do you think it could be enough for the winter time or for indoor activities?
Hi doctor, totally OT, but what do you think about the claim that vitamin c applied topically is ineffective because of its extremely instability?
Hi from the U.S.! Love this video, your makeup application is fresh, pretty and a breath of fresh air!
I don't like that nars lip pencils do not self sharpen, but I think i used to use this combo: pencil in Morocco & gloss – oops, not seeing the color I used to use. But maybe Turkish delight, stolen kisses or sweet dreams if they still have that 👍
Bobbi brown also has great natural colors (what the line is famous for!) And people are loving the crushed glosses….but I also love cover girl ballerina liquid lip…
My coloring is a bit similar to yours 😁
Not boring. I prefer this to the overdone, over contoured, over highlighted, endless stage make up that really looks ridiculous in ever day…really pushing people to spend endless amounts of $$$
I only can to watch because I figured you would put sunscreen on.. Find me a sunscreen to put on and the make up is such a challenge for so many people, including me I’m about to give up I can’t find one that looks good
"fat end of a big one…" 😂
Beautiful Sam xxxxx
Careful not to remove the eyeball. Hehehe!!!
Always love your approach to makeup, classy simple and chic. Thank goodness for your dr sams essentials you saved me a lot of time, money and heartache haha! Could you do a video on ingredients to avoid in cosmetics, unless you are thinking to create a few products for your line! X
Too far away Dr Sam!!!!!
Ladies please guide me ,pay pal or G pay not available in my country..is there a different method on her site to pay on card?
Do you think Lilash is safe for sensitive eyes, to grow small lashes?
Which spf you wear? Why dont you wear bb creams, latest trend ??
I don’t know why I watched this. I already know how to do makeup. I think I was simply entranced by someone on YouTube who doesn’t have fake lips, fake teeth and fake hair, doing real makeup rather than kabuki theatre makeup.
Thanks and have a good day.
My kind of makeup day lol. Thanks Dr. Sam for sharing.
Awesome video, have a lovely day 🙂
May I ask what sunscreen your wearing?
I love the look.
Hello Dr Sam, in one of your recent youtube videas, you mentioned that when you apply your retinoid you don’t like to put anything over it so as not not to “damage he sensitive retinoid molecules”. However, in other video you mentioned that niancinamide could work well when used over a retinoid. Could you explain more about this, and how we can layer niacinamide or a moisturiser over tretinoin without damaging the retinoid molecules. Thanks!
Hey Sam, could you please also list the lip moisturiser you were using? Thanks! PS. Love your flawless cleanser and moisturiser that I recently started using.
Hi Sam, you didn´t apply any setting powder…why?, do you have dry skin?. Thank you and loves 😘
Beautiful…just how I love my everyday makeup to look. Thank you 😊 xx
I love this makeup look on you! Looks lovely!
I use the pointy end as Arya Stark would say…LOL!
Lovely, Dr. Sam! What sunscreen did you use?
Nice Game of Thrones reference in there 😆
“Natural but better”. That’s how I like my look too. I love your minimal makeup and dewy finish!
Dr Sam, I remove my waterproof mascara with tons of oil, just simple mineral oil. I massage my eyelashes with my index finger and thumb very gently and take my time until the mascara is gone. I don’t rub my eyelashes against my under eyes, that is harsh. Again, I’m generous with the oil. I gently wipe off the excess oil with the broken up makeup with cotton balls. Then I use a gentle non foaming face wash. Please try that. The skin is left completely makeup free but not stripped.
Dr Sam, is powder blusher generally ok for acne skin? As they are powder products (not sure if powder blusher is different from setting powder) and I've heard that red dye can trigger acne?
