People don't care that Michael Jordan is a dark skin man people like Michael Jordan for his personality and competitive spirit and he comes off as friendly and hardworking I don't think people care if he is light skin or dark skin

The fact thatย our black women were not checking for dark skin brothers until other womenย took notice, the fact thatย they have thrown light skin black brothers under the bus.ย the sickness goes on and on.ย and unfortunately
it began with our women.
This should be looked at as a learning tool for us as black men to come together and unify.ย and destroy the superficial barriers that we've allowed to divide usย and build our communities.ย
back in high school I tried to holla at this girl ….she said let me tell you something ….first your skin too black ….you hella black….and your lips are hella big …ironically as I got older and grew into my body …girls from all types be digging me ….saying I look a lot like Jordan….I get that to this day…I remember back in high school I was in foster/group homes ….and me and my mates who lived together would go everywhere together….the light skinned kids in the group would get all the play action from the girls everytime….I didn't even question it ….that was just the way it was
You raise some very interesting points. However being light or dark doesn't make a person look better than others. There are so many light skin women that are ugly. Yes they are light. But they are ugly. This slavery complex has to stop !

i agree to this comment to some extent….black women like lighter skinned men much more in middle school and highschool. They begin to like darker skinned guys in their late teen/early 20s ,eventhough their giving the dark guy attention in their late teens/early 20s, they still prefer the lighter guy despite them saying they prefer dark-skinned men.

in the black community dark skin black men and light skin black women are the most desired. this me aint me boo-hooing about it or anything,but it's just the truth.
i think most really do prefer you dark and brown skin men. they might like us in their younger days like in middle or high school,but once they start to reach their 20's most want dark/brown skin men. i have even seen some black women online say they "grew out" of liking light skin men. like we're basically a phase for them. not one black woman on my father or mother side is married to a light skin black man. black women say we are gay,soft,feminine and less masculine than dark/brown skin men

False! The black race is conditioned to find lighter skinned people more attractive, including black women. Before the Mid-90s black women didnt like darkskinned black men like that. Even today, throughout elementary school all the way through highschool black girls prefer lightskinned dudes over darkskinned dudes. Black women only like darkskinned men these days after a certain age, and when they do begin to like darkskinned dudes they still prefer lightskinned dudes over them.

Well you are right that it was none blacks who put darkskin men on top which made BW want them because we don't want others to have them. But for the record light skin is not unique.
I'm in highschool and I'm dark-skinned(both my parents are from Zimbabwe) and girls don't think I'm that attractive. They only thought I was attractive when I grew and started lifting weights

I'm Darkskin and I have had several beautiful women approach me i think it is becoming a takeover of the darkskin .I assure you Dark skin is about to big I've been approached by a vast amount of gorgeous women in a short period it's your appeal and looks does play a part.#Truth

They're the ones who pushed the dark skin disses, kinky hair etc. They still don't want us but pretend to as part of their loyalty game whilst claiming we're self haters.
Even in the uk 2day they treat us bad when they're young but when they grow up they're suddenly more attracted to dark skin bm. No one was complaining when they were chasing light skin back then whilst trashing dark bm. Now we do the same thing they call us self haters etc when they're the ones who drove us away. Its one thing they try their best to cover up.
