repost ! we had a little problem with the video 🙂
Yay to our first episode! Today we’re starting with the wonderful Delina. (make sure to follow her on IG @delinamedhin !!!) She’s a very talented makeup artist that celebrate beauty with all her heart.
She doesn’t use makeup as a way to change your features. But just to enhance them. Today we wanted to share our video, to learn from each other how depending on our skin tone, a classic red lips look will differ. What kind of blush or red lipstick will fit us better.
One thing we both agreed on is the copper touch in the eyes ! Best match ever for a bold lip.

Violette – I have not seen any other MUA feature such a variety of skin tones; one of the truest representations of the different people that populate the world. Brava! x

Delivering so much positivity and inspo as alway! ❤️ I did notice (especially around the first minute or so when Violette was talking) the audio sync was a hair off – maybe just my phone but wanted to let you know in case it’s not for future versions. Excited about this series!

You two are glowing: ) This is beautiful, I love the direction you're taking your channel! I would love to see an episode about adult acne, and also skincare for different types of skin.

I'd love to hear you guys talk about how you prep your own skin/models' skin Before you apply makeup. It seems so daunting considering everyone's skin is different, I'd love to hear what you guys love and trust. x

Violette! Can we talk a little more about this messy eye-closed-top-bottom-double eyeliner application process? 😀 If you did it in a prior video, I missed it. Been trying it myself and I love it.

While in NYC I never see anyone with makeup on. Violette I had the food revulsion also, but I did not lose my hair, but food looked disgusting and couldnt stand any odors.

Can you make a video on prepping acne prone skin for makeup? Because most medicines we take cause dry, flaky, irritated skin.. And also some foundations cause acne.

Loved this girl! I think her skin is beautiful, but for me that was too much foundation. I don’t wear it for years now and it always feels too heavy to have so much foundation on my face. But I love the guests you bring to your channel Violette!

Cheating for using falsies? Hell no! There are walking women with a dick and that’s perfectly acceptable, I’m pretty sure use falsies is ok just like lipstick. I use contacts and someone told me they look fake, I said…yep! Just like my red mouth.

Delina is Ethiopian just like me and i have the same exact problem with my skin hyperpigmentation, acne. you should really do a video together about it. It would really help. I am so glad that i saw her techniques. I would try the foundation. Merci Violette de la voir inviter. Tu es jolie, j'aime trop ta chaine, personalité..bref tout en gros…

I love this video! <3 but I would love it so much more if there were clean organic eco/ethical make up products used. There are SO many great fun products out right now that are just a bit more conscientious for health and the environment.
(Not just cruelty free – though that is great – it may still have a lot of bad things in it and /or sourced unethically)
just some food for thought <3

Ladies, please do a video about different types of acne. I’m 58 and I STILL break out along my jawline! I never expected that. So fun for me to hear you both talk about makeup since I’m a former MUA. love this!

I felt like I was at a slumber party talking about makeup with 2 queens. I REALLY really enjoyed this video, especially bc Delina has darker skin, some of the same skin conditions as me, and bc she uses lesser known brands. Thank you. I would love a video on how to do natural makeup when your have a lot of dark marks and hyperpigmentation. I do "natural" makeup, but I'd love to actually have a routine where I'm more free with my time
