Itโ€™s art. He made white ones too. The only reasons why he made a account for their one was because everyone was asking for it. He was inspired by dark skin women.

For anyone feeling outraged, unsure, etc here's some more info on this. Basically the photographer who was trying to teach himself digital art, decided to create an image of what he thought beautiful with Shudu as a result, hence the reason its not a real model because it's more of an art form. What's everyone's thoughts on this?

I am not really bothered by this as they do this with other races like white for example.
Do I think this is a win, no not really. Is it namely problematic no in my opinion.

While that model is very beautiful, there is no substitute for a beautiful Black woman with this skin tone. There are too many beautiful women in this world to get lazy and not pursue them! No digital model can replace REAL beauty. I want to see her imperfections and realness during interviews or behind the scenes because I would love to follow her and learn more. Can't do that if she's just a program. The absolute NERVE.๐Ÿ˜‚

I think he did a great job. It looks good. Itโ€™s more than nothing at all. If he used what people call a โ€œLSWโ€, people would complain about that too. Canโ€™t make everybody happy. I think the representation and art is beautiful.

Couldnโ€™t they find a real beautiful dark skinned model? LOL I know this is what we might see more of in the future for all races of models but DAMN … BW havenโ€™t even gotten their foot in the race yet and given an opportunity to shine. But itโ€™s the Black communityโ€™s fault because you can expect others to promote BW and at least thus some promotion which is more than BM are doing for their community.

I love your video but I donโ€™t see where your backing your points up with actual facts. You said โ€œprobablyโ€ at least 4 times now, I just donโ€™t like the fact you donโ€™t actually know whatโ€™s going on. Your basing this whole video on what you think, not facts. Iโ€™m friends with Cameron and heโ€™s really nice and I think he admires dark skinned women. The whole point of making this model is for her not to be real. I totally think more real girls should get exposure but you canโ€™t hate the fact shudu isnโ€™t real. Sheโ€™s not taking jobs from anyone sheโ€™s one person, people may love her and thatโ€™s cause sheโ€™s digital. Itโ€™s art. Simple, and itโ€™s his preference. If someone wants a white model there gonna get a white model, same for blacks. Just like if a black photographer wants a black model he will get one cause thatโ€™s what he wants.

I'm a graphic designer and a photographer so i could tell this was fake. even if it was meant to flatter. Once the creator knows they can make money out of it without paying and promoting a black model then it would become commonplace. The fact is models are only there to sell clothes. So from a financial point of view it makes sense to spend as little money as possible for maximum profit. Now imagine if someone perfects virtual models on catwalks using projectors. To be honest I dont get how any black woman can cosign this fetishism. Anything less than using a real model is just accepting the scraps from the table like a slave. If it was a black man that did it, black women should still be furious.
