Iโ€™m from Ghana ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ญ. I was born in Ghana and after I turned 1 year old, I moved to Germany. I finished first grade in Germany then moved back to Ghana. Lived there for 7 or so years. I finished JSS 1 before coming to the US (Alabama).

Very nice. You said you came to the US at 17 but I don't even hear a Ghanaian accent. But if you're anything like me, when you're around your family and other Ghanaians, the accent comes back naturally! lol….I am actually a Ghanaian born in Toronto. People say I'm more Ghanaian than Canadian. You would think at times Twi is my first language when I can't figure out what English word to use. lol….Every winter, I have to blame my mom for giving birth to me in December. Imagine winters in Canada! lol I could have been born in Ghana and at least came later! lol Appreciate your video.

I'm from Barbados. A lot of what you said about school is a lot like what we have here. We have primary and secondary school here. Lots of public schools and very few private ones.

Hi Ohema. I'm originally from Zimbabwe and I moved to New Zealand when I was 13. I'm now living in Australia. I pretty much grew up similarly to you in Zim. I went to boarding school in primary school. I still have great memories 14years later.

Chemaa, you are so beautiful, dang girl. Anyway, i am from Senegal and I can relate to your childhood. We have an educational system similar to the French one, from 1st grade to 13th grade. And even though I was a good student, I also got few spankings from my teachers,

Yes to more Ghana talks. I was born in Koforidua but came to Brooklyn when I was 2, so I missed out on actually growing in Ghana. So I like hearing authentic Ghanaian experiences. Everytime I actually go to Ghana its low key of a culture shock. Anyways the look is bomb ๐Ÿ˜
