Dont forget even the Black lesbians used photos of light skin men to attract women. A lot of Black women secretly worship LIGHTSKIN.

Iโ€™m light skin . I grew up in a whole white family , with my mom and my step dad and my 7 fully white blonde haired blue eyes Pale skin siblings.I never met my real dad who was black . My mom didnt even tell me I was half black until I was 11 she always told me that My step dad had Indian in his family thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m dark I was darker when I was younger because I would alway stay out in the sun . My family would tell me to get out of the sun so I donโ€™t get too dark .I didnโ€™t look like other mixed girls my hair being a type 4 . All I wanted was to be white like everyone else around me . Because that would make me prettier . Every night I would go to sleep and dream about having long blonde hair and pale skin like my siblings . I felt as if I didnโ€™t belong . How was I born into a family I didnโ€™t look like ? Kids at school would pick on me and say thatโ€™s not ur real family , your adopted . They would call me nappy headed everything . I felt disgusting I hated โ€œlooking black โ€œ so I tried to bleach my skin with Clorox by either rubbing it on my skin or pouring some in my bath . It didnโ€™t work I thought god just wanted me to suffer being this hideous . By the time I was 11 I finally got the truth my cousin told me she said , u donโ€™t believe your really white do u ? I said yes then she was like no your real dad is black , I felt absolutely disgusting like how could my mom lie to me . Who was my real dad ? I started to rebel against my mom since she lied . I started identifying as mixed race instead of race but people would be like how are u mixed if u donโ€™t have pretty loose curly hair ? I got made from of for my hair for sooo long I finally got a relaxer on my 13th birthday I felt so happy . I also stayed out the sun so I didnโ€™t appear to dark .one time this lady asked me if I was mixed and I felt sooo happy . Fast forward I am now 15 years old and I love myself and my skin I still have not met my biological father but I do identify proudly as half African American i now Love my golden skin in the summer and I went back natural in october I shaved my whole head at the moment Iโ€™m wearing wigs but when my hair grows out I canโ€™t wait to rock natural type 4 hair looks. Beauty comes in all shades and black is absolutely beautiful I now feel beautiful in my own skin

The colorism issue always gets swept under the rug.. A lot of dark skin men/women go out of their way to have babies that don't have their skin complexion… The self hatred is real in black families and communities, the chains of control are no longer around our arms and ankles but around our mind #Simple Thank u 400 years a slave and counting ๐Ÿ˜’

I just saw this episode online. Alante simply likes lighter skinned black women. There has to be physical attraction in any relationship. But yeah Alante is so infatuated and he feels invested for 8 years that all logic goes out the window.
