me and my sisters buy from black owned brands, just Kinky Curly and SheaMoisture we like, my natural hairs 2a, 2b and a few inches past hip length, I have one sister with the same 2a 2b hair type, one sister with 2c, 3a, and 2 sisters with natural 1c hair type, I have 4 sisters and two older brothers, this video is interesting, there's a lot of brands you named I've never heard of before

That was fun to watch! Although I have to say, that was A LOT of make up. Ready for TV anyone? Holy madre. It would be nice to see you do an every day make up using mineral powder and no liquid foundation for women who sweat on the face (as I do), live in hot climates and/or just don't want to use that much make up every day. Gorgeous look though and you are entertaining to watch. You said it yourself though, that intro was just a little too long. Have subscribed. Looking forward to your new stuff. Btw, I found you because I was looking for pics of black women with eyebrows that I like. I am a permanent make up artist in West Palm Beach, FL and I am doing a microblading special promotion targeted to black women.

For some reason it sounds so much better to say my 'non white' or 'non black' friends than to say my "black friends" or my "white friends"… Maybe it's more inclusive? Idk

Did anyone do this? I don't see any non-black YouTubers doing it. Given the state of the US right now and since its inception, I guess it's to be expected but totally disappointing.

White woman here. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I used to wear the Black Opal primer… but havenโ€™t been able to find it in my local area. (It was available everywhere, when I lived in ATL… but less so in CT, where I live now.) I also bought a bunch of lip products from BlackUp (?), during a special launch event, at a NYC Sephora. I donโ€™t know if itโ€™s a black owned company… but they advertised โ€œproducts for black women.โ€ I love many of the colors and theyโ€™re wearable, even on my light โ€œwinterโ€ complexion. (I tend to change to a more light golden olive, in the summer… even though I avoid tanning.) Iโ€™m also seriously interested in the Fenty Beauty line. Currently, I only own the highlighter brush… but Iโ€™m planning on looking into blushes, highlighters and lip products… later.
