Honestly sis, I agree with you. I feel like the noise dey too much in regards to shade. Just find another one that fits you, dont take it too personal. Everyone is ranting and it's like, "chill and buy another one that has your shade". Its only makeup!!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฃ

I'd like to say that I think this foundation issue is a problem for both extremes. I'm extremely pale and finding a foundation my shade is very hard, especially since I have blue undertones. I wonder if this is because these are harder to formulate or there is simply less demand for them.

I am on board with you! If we are going to demand inclusion, then do it everywhere, for everything. A plus sized person should be able to walk into any store and every brand should have every size for everyone. 5x and beyond. Include all of us. Demanding that is absurd, though.

YES! no one is complaining about black owned, latin owned, asian owned, etc. Businesses for not catering to ALL people. Expecting that is absurd, too. I wish i could get some korean skin care in my skin tone, but its not happening.

Someone commented about these non mainstream companies not sending out PR to youtubers. They shouldn't have to. Im sure if they did their company might grow. Vote with your wallet. Support what you stand for. Cruelty free, no hazardous chemicals, companies that share your standards.

I'm not black, but I have curly hair and I have "black brands" hair products. Im going to spend my money on products that cater to me and my needs that share my standards and who excel in their field.

SUBSCRIBED because I agree with your opinions and I want to hear more of what you have to say. Stay beautiful!

The stupid Democrat race pimps wont teach people this:
But ending segregation completely destroyed black wealth black owned buisnesses and economy.

You have to DIG DIG DIG back of the fucking internet to pull this up,
    but it's TRUE.
What is so important and great about white people stores
that black stores arent good enough?!
Do they have gold toilet seats un their bathrooms?
    NO.
    My final question is this.
I want people to really think about this and answer honestly.

    Who benefits?
    WHO BENEFITS

Is this reverse psychology to destroy black wealth?

    SUPPORT BLACK ECONOMY
    DONT NEED WHITE ECONOMY

This is ridiculous. A large percent of black people buy from all these companies, so the fact that they are overlooked is just astounding to me. A lot of the "black owned businesses" that you mentioned aren't even owned by black people. They should be able to walk into a store and buy a foundation from whatever brand they want to without any problems, but it doesn't work that way. BY speaking out against this kind of stuff, you aren't jumping onto the band wagon, you are merely trying to make a difference. They shouldn't have to go to a black focused company in order to find their shade. If white people don't have to do that, why should they?
Videos like this are sending out the wrong message. We put effort into speaking about injustices like these, so that it could make the world a better place in the future. Change doesn't happen on it's own.

You should seriously check out sleek cosmetics, they are geared towards women of color, and are amazing. As a white woman, I don't know the struggle of not having foundation in my color, but I can empathize with not being able to find a match. It makes me look orange, or super pale I look sick! ๐Ÿ™ Love you and your channel.

I am in the medium tan range with an olive undertone. I feel it's hard for me to find a match, maybe I need to look into brands that are not in the mainstream. I have tried brands at the drugstore and it's hard for me to find a great match, I usually have to settle for the yellow undertone. I think it's silly that in 2018 we still have so many issues with finding a shade, you would think we would have an app for that with a little robot making the foundation before our eyes. I am tired of trying to find a match. I enjoyed your video.

I see what you mean, but the reason that black-owned brands have only dark shades is because women of those shades cannot find them elsewhere. Hopefully one day yes all brands can include every skin tone. But the reason those brands exist is because white businesses weren't going to make the makeup that black women needed.

The reason why these brandsโ€™ main focus is POC is because there are already tons of white owned brands (like Tarte) who mainly cater for people with lighter complexions, theyโ€™re just trying to even out the game & show us some love! Also, the reason many people donโ€™t own black owned company products is because theyโ€™re typically harder to get as theyโ€™re not available in store; personally itโ€™s very rare for me to buy complexion products online because Iโ€™d rather go in store and correctly match it to my face in one day instead of spending weeks buying and returning different shades because I canโ€™t find my correct one.

Exactly how I feel . Bitches are hypocrites white people would eventually cater more to white people . Fake woke people and nagging ass bitches always complain and cry without thinking you have a solution to the problem by buying whatโ€™s meant for you . Even tarts mentioned they would be coming with more shade but no bitches like to stay mad .
