Black Men, Afraid of Dark – Stereotypes

Black Men, Afraid of Dark – Stereotypes

A short (3:32 minute) documentary that analyses some of the damaging stereotypes surrounding black men from the Brute (criminal) to the Mandingo. It takes a brief look at the origin of these stereotypes and shows how society has bought into it, which has often cost the black man his life without justice. We see this with the images of Trayvon Martin and Emmitt Till in this piece.

"What will it take to become free?" Organized revolution! Anyone who attempts to deny that does not want to win, nor want blacks to win. We already know most whites don't, that's their job on the earth. But, what are we (black people) serious about? We can win, but not until we start doing what is necessary to win. The whites (not all of them) are doing EVERYTHING they can conceive generation after generation to ensure black STAY at the bottom of the social order. Its our fault if we do not get serious, cause these people are not playing with us.

Really? cause I blame white people. Whenever you turn on the radio or Tv what do you see and hear? Who pays those people?

Why are the people on the positive side, the side that represent many of us suppressed? who owns the mass media outlets? come on
