The colour theory isn't an opinion and we must know It, observe carefully at it in order to obtain an effect or another being aware of the result. Obviously we can experiment anything and see how we feel about it, going deep.Love,Peace and colours.

I am sooo glad to have found this video! I'm around a NW10 in MAC foundation so I'm very pale too and find it so hard to find videos of swatches on fair skinned people! This helped sooo much, thank you ๐Ÿ˜€X

Im pretty sure what looks good on you also depends on your haircolor, eyecolor, how dark or light your skin is etc,
It's not just about the undertone

This would have been more helpful with darker and lighter skin women that had warm and cool undertones. Just because you're dark doesn't mean you have a warm undertone and vice versa ( tho it's most common). so I think 4 women would have been the most helpful

I find this so ridiculous. I think anyone can wear any color lipstick. Who says certain lipsticks are only made for certain people with cool, neutral or warm undertones?

Wish I could find a light or faded red lip shade. Something that's not so intense.

Ok, the person doing the demo in this video should know that her style of speech is going to lead to vocal nodes. ย http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/10/31/vocal-fry_n_6082220.html

If you bite on your lip it will turn either reddish pink or pale sort of blue tint. That will shiwbyou what color to use in red or pink and if you are a blue tone.

People assume that because I have dark hair and eyes that I'm automatically going to be a warm toned person. I'm now working in cosmetics (I have been for a few years now) and have come to learn that my skin is a definite neutral!! All these years I was lead astray! LOL (Blue toned reds look AMAZING on me!!)

That's your personal preference but, I think what they were trying to say is ; which metal color looks best against your skin? Does one metal color pop against your skin? Gold tends to meld into my skintone and is quite underwhelming to look at, while silver pops and there's a definite contrast between my skin and the metal ๐Ÿ˜€ (hope that helped)

I definitely have a cool undertone, even makeup artists have told me that, but I definitely look much better in warm colors – eye shadows and lipsticks too. Peaches and warm reds look so much better on me than pinks and cool toned lipsticks.

Hi there! Thanks for your question! I know it can be confusing, but at the end of the day, it's all about what YOU think looks best. Grab a friend and go to a makeup store where you can try on a bunch of lipsticks (so one that has lipstick testers and applicators). Try them on your lips, ask a friend for her opinion, and take pictures to see what works best. With a little patience, you'll find one that works for you, we promise! Thanks for watching!
