Best Mineral Sunscreen for Face | Battle of Sunscreens | Without White Residue for Dark Skin
Battle of Natural & organic Green beauty mineral Sunscreens. I tested four natural mineral sunscreens. Find out which one of these non toxic sunscreens is my favorite. We want to protect and boost our skin’s defense against aging caused by sun damage as well as possible Skin Cancer. But we also want to limit the amount of harmful toxic ingredients we use. I have oily combination brown skin and finding a natural Sun Screen that isn’t to heavy and thick, greasy & oily along with not leaving a white film has been a challenge. 1. Burt’s Bees 2. Coola 3. Eminence Organics & 4. Andalou.I finally found the All Natural Sunscreen that is made from plant and mineral ingredients. It’s gentle and controls oil as well as protects my skin from harmful UV Rays and it’s perfect for darker skin & brown skin….And the winner is….

You look like Serena Williams/Venus williams,But you look better.
5:50 starts the reviews….
I want something that has no perfume in it.
Hi, i am planning on buying this sunscreen. However, on Amazon i read a comment of an african-american woman saying that she had a slightly white cast on her face after applying the Andalou Untinted sunscreen. I would love to try it out, i've been looking for a good zinc oxide sunscreen that wouldn't leave a white cast on my face. Would you recommend this for an african woman, like me, about 3 shades lighter than you because we slightly have the same skin tone. I would love to try it =)
FYI without the titanium dioxide itโs not broad spectrum coverage. Only protects from one of the suns rays (UVA /UVB).
Thanks so much for the review, I'm on my own search for an excellent mineral sunscreen for oily skin. You probably experienced allergic contact dermatitis with the eminence sunscreen, most likely from the natural products. I'm guessing the eminence has fancy but frankly unnecessary botanical extracts and essential oils etc. that drive up the cost but actually can be quite irritating for the skin. As much as i love natural beauty, the truth is many organic/natural products can be quite irritating and unhealthy for the skin, but people love to have ingredients they can recognize, pronounce, and even 'eat', so companies continue adding unnecessarily irritating ingredients.
I read the Andalou Oil control spf 30 balm has now been re-formulated and it is not the same anymore? Is that true?
Thank you for this! I will be trying the Burt's Bees, have been wanting to try their products for awhile now. I am glad the Andalou worked out for you. You have beautiful skin.
New subby… on a search for Andalou now!!!
try la roch posay for oily skin you will love it โฅ
love the video great tips
coola was good for me bit after searching more information on the product on ewg.com I stopped using it.
Rocย soleil-protect anti brown spot unifying fluid spf 50+ย is a very good one as well.ย It has an ultra light fluidย texture and leaves no white residue. Orย Ducray Melascreen depigmentant.
have you tried goddess garden facial sunscreen? A lot of people like it, including myself.
My skin is normal/dry. For everyday use Coola works well for me. I will try Andalou when I run out of my Coola. I like the price point.
I must confess that if I am going to be in strong sun for an extended period of time, I use some sunscreens with nasty ingredients ( SPF 50 and 70). too. Although, I am brown, I do burn. Yes, my cheeks have age spots from repeated burns.
I bought the Coola one you have on here and used it on my vacation 2 wks ago, my cheeks broke out ๐ Kinda bummed as I wanted to love it also and saw the glowing reviews
