The Dickinson's that you showed is alcohol-free but unlike the regular Dickinson's which has 14% natural grain alcohol, this one has phenoxyethanol which is apparently a pretty strong irritant.
What would you as a professional say is worse, alcohol which is drying or phenoxyethanol which is an irritant? I'm having a hard time weighing them against each other.

I live in Germany and we don‘t have a lot of witch hazel products here. I found one with only two ingredients: hamamelis virginiana leaf water and organic alcohol – do you think i should avoid it because of the alcohol? I only want to use it on my oily forehead and nose 🙂

I heard that the witch hazel with hyaluronic acid is an anti inflammatory. Ok to use for puffy eyes?

I have used many sunscreens. All of them claim "oil free" but in reality it is full of oil. Any suggestions for one that is 100% oil free? Thanks

Can i use witch hazel throughout the day? I get oily during the afternoon, so can I put witch hazel on my t-zone in the afternoon over my moisturizer from the morning?

You have beautiful skin! I just wanted to say that I completely changed up my skincare routine after finding your channel a few days ago and I have already noticed a major difference, so I am excited to continue my routine. I can't thank you enough for the time you have spent making these videos for all of us.

Can witch hazel be used on my ears as well? Unfortunately I have a lot of excess oil on the inner parts of my ears. Also I noticed during your facial cleansing you dont apply it to your neck? Should I not be washing my neck with the Cerave Cleanser? Thank you so much I just started this skin routine and praying it saves my skin 😊😊

I mostly have chin acne due to my menstrual cycle , eating certain sweets/junk and simply touching the area. My dermatologist told me to only use oil-free products. Like, the product must say oil-free. Do you think that's true? She told me if it says for oilyy skin, don't use it. O.o

Can a dry skinned person use a witch hazel based toner? I received the Arcona Cranberry toner as a gift and I have been too scared to use it because it has witch hazel as it’s second ingredient. It contains natural ingredients which gives it this really strong smell (starting to thing there’s some sort of perfume type smell included too). So is witch hazel and natural fragrance in a toner ok for a dry skinned person? Someone please help 🙁

I thought that moisturizers make your skin lazy and keep it from making its own hydration

Hi Dr. Dray! Question, in your "How to exfoliate the face" video, you say not to leave cleansers with SA on your skin since they're effective upon contact and prolonged contact can be harmful. But here you leave it on and I plan to purchase the CeraVe Cleanser. So… should I leave it on my face or wash it off after im done applying it? Please let me know if I misunderstood.

Dear Dr Dre, the only witch hazel I could find here in South Africa was witch hazel with rose water, is using rose water fine? I am using adapalene and benzoyl peroxide every night and yet those products should be drying my skin, my skin is very oily during the course of the day. Can I use witch hazel in the evening before cleansing my face? as my face is not oily in the morning. Thanks alot, love your channel xoxoxo
