4 Best Sunscreen for Face | Prevent Hyperpigmentation

Find out the 4 best face sunscreen you can buy in my tried and tested video!

I’ve been using SPF 50 sunscreen for face every day for around 6 years and have tried most of the sunblocks on the market so know which ones to avoid, which SPF cream works well with make up, which are too greasy and which ones wont give you spots!!

I use it to prevent melasma (known as chloasma), but they are great for anti ageing too.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks! I'm a bit of a product junkie myself, and found that I am using (2) of the products you have reviewed… the Obagi spf 50 (I use the warm tinted version), and Clarins spf 40 (I again used the tinted version). I agree they are both really good at keeping my hyperpigmentation at bay. Wearing a good sunscreen EVERYDAY (even when it's cloudy or rainy) is the only way to prevent it. Curious, have you tried Dermalogica Powerbright TRX Pure Light SPF 50 face moisturizer? I've been using for several months now. It's very light weight, and I use 2 pumps in the morning, and on days I wear make-up, apply a light to medium coverage foundation or bb cream overtop. Sometimes I'll apply a tinted sunscreen overtop (like the tinted Obagi Sun Shield 50 or tinted Clarin spf 40). Not sure if it's lightening any of the existing hyperpigmentation, but it's certainly not getting any worse, and this is in the middle of summer and spending time on the water/boating.

Be careful of chemical sunscreens as they can actually activate pigmentation too! Especially ones with oxybenzone and octycrylene.
