Perfect skin does not exist, but healthy skin can give you everything.
I chose to film this on a day that I had a breakout on my chin because that's real life. I wanted to show how I treat that when it does happen, and embrace that it's something natural and real.

I'm obsessed with skincare! Please do more skincare videos ~ These were amazing recommendations. Also, for sensitive skin stay clear of products with fragrance. ( Mario P. spray)

  2. gimmeproof says:

I disagree on castor oil accelarating hair growth – you'd be better off buying a biotin supplement to do that. the castor oil probably just prevents breakage to some extent. imho.

  3. Barbara Elizabeth says:

I love the black tea essence from Fresh! I use it at night with the Maycoop essence for the AM. Have you tried the Laneige hydration toner and lip balms? The pear and peach ones are addicting, I love them as much as the masks (also team vanilla here)

  4. Karis Russell says:

I watch dr dray a lot and she had said that Mario spray is like spraying perfume on your face. She explains why and everything but that might be something you would find interesting if you watched that video. I believe it's the shop at ulta video πŸ™‚ love your channel

  5. Bopper Club says:

I love you. I got so excited when I saw that you uploaded like 2 days ago but I was moving πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ so hyped to finally be able to sit down and watch it. Amazing video!

I work for Clinique and the one product I can’t live without is the #2 Clarifying Lotion. It does include butylene glycol, an organic alcohol, and placed on the skin, butylene glycol is absorbed and broken down into β€œgamma-hydroxybutryic acid,” a naturally occurring compound found in humans. It’s also humectant with citric acid and salicylic acid, so it’s both a AHA and BHA. It may be too strong those who have sensitive skin, but if you can tolerate it, it does wonders for the skin. We do a demonstration where we place moisturizer on one hand w/o the clarifying lotion and the other hand with, and the results are undeniable. The moisturizer on the hand with out just smears around and sits on top of the skin, and the hand with the clarifying lotion absorbs in immediately. Then I add foundation, and it’s the same thing. My skin has improved dramatically, and my foundation application is flawless. I rarely sell a bottle of foundation without it after doing the demo. If you stop by your local Clinique counter and ask for a sample, the will be sure to give you one. Just try the demo on your hand and you will be amazed!

Love this video! I've never heard of the 10-step korean skin care process so I'll definitely be looking into that more. At least now I know where in my routine the beauty essence I have is supposed to go lol

  8. Pichon Maellys says:

Yesssss i've been so much into skincare lately ! It changed my skin in no time at all ! I have very oily skin/clogged pores with occasional pimples and it was due to severe dehydration πŸ˜” now i am on my way to a 100 steps skincare routine πŸ˜‚

  9. BlueMermaidJojo says:

I honestly don't know what I'm doing with my skincare, and I don't really understand much even though I'm always asking questions and looking up videos and going to sephora and learning about ingredients that I have no idea how they work together. But here's my routine:

Cleanser: Ren Clean Skincare; Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk
Toner: Caudalie Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Toner
Serum: Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Active Brightening OIl
Moisturizer: Farmacy Honey Drop LIghtweight Moisturizer

I just tried a sample of Boscia cleansing oil but it didn't really take off all of my makeup, so I used Olay facial wash wipes to clean off the rest of my makeup. I don't know which cleansing oil to try next.
When I exfoliate, I use the Boissance Squalane & Glycolic Renewal Facial
I don't use sunscreen since I'm rarely outside during the day, but I've been wanting to try the Tatcha Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35 PA+++
I saw great reviews on it especially for someone who really hates the greasy feeling afterwards and my skin is super sensitive towards sunscreen.

I don't know if I'm missing anything honestly..

Your amazing! I just finished all of my face products and its time to go shopping but it’s been so long that I’m literally lost, I have combo skin; oily & dry, I love to stay hydrated & im looking for products that I can find easily. I hope this isn’t too much to ask but can you do a spreadsheet or something breaking down each category of your routine along with the products in each. I tried to write it all down but I got confused and it was too much haha πŸ’› thanks for making this video, again your awesome!

  11. lizmcatee says:

Thank you, Julia, for this amazing video!! I have several of the items you mentioned and I agree that they are incredible. I Just found out that the skincare I had been using for years has ingredients in most of their products that are Not ideal for skin at all (2nd on the list alcohol denat!!) Ahem, loreal and lancome, wtf?! Your information will now help me sort out a new optimal routine using what I already have, as well as trying some new products, of course πŸ’—πŸ’ž Keep creating your awesome videos!! U r πŸ₯°πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’œπŸ’šπŸ’

  12. fff fff says:

So I'll search the ingredients and search something that has similar propriety and that i can try in Italy……Mario badescu is the only one that I can try at sephora Unfortunately… you ever used other Mario badescu 's products ( I know that you use the toner as I could see in this video) . Ps: sorry for the eventually mistakes

  13. fff fff says:

Very helpfull video, I have dry skin too , I have to make a skincare from zero and I'll take yours as a model. The only problem that I have is that the things that you use are or too expensive or normal but unfindable in Italy…so I can't try

  14. Ezra Goggles says:

I tried the SkII but it did nothing for my face. I didn’t notice anything but I recently tried the ordinary skincare brand and they’re saving my face from my cyst acne I get.

  15. M Pere says:

If you find that the farmacy balm is getting too expensive to keep repurchasing, I use the Heimish balm cleanse. It's 17$ on Amazon and Yesstyle. I got it as a recommendation from Gothamista

  16. Maddie Bee says:

I know you’re heavily focused on makeup, but would you ever consider vlogging at all? I know you like to keep your personal life private (which is totally okay!) I just didn’t know if you’d ever consider it. I just really enjoy your videos ☺️

  17. MagnAliqa says:

I really appreciate this video as I am suuuch a skincare maniac, and still on my own skincare journey! Love you, and girl, that glowy skin is the prettiest thing ever (^o^)/ Edit: also a really close dupe for the skII essence would be the missha first essence moist if i remember correctly… i also recommend u check out my faave skincare junkies liahyoo and jameswelsh, they have really good skincare tips too ^u^

  18. Shelly H says:

youre a pre med student. thats awesome. i knew you were smart from the moment i started your vids. you are super articulate and eloquent. i love your channel!
