I hope we can one day. However we are pushed away by people that say light women are not really black. We get called half breed, mutts and many other names.
I can understand light skin women feeling mistreated but dark skinned women are doing this because we black people as a whole are under attack by propaganda everyday telling us to further our ties to Africa, hate ourselves and become the slave class of America. Repulsion of whiteness is us trying to maintain our black identity because we don't have an actual "culture" thats seperates us thus the opposing tribe or "culture" is white and it's hard to identify these enemies nowadays. I know it gets tiring but we are at war people; so sorry if you've met some people that haven't adjusted to living in a war zone their whole life but who will keep our minds intact if we don't
As a Brown Skin woman myself it's not just about dark skin men rejection of dark skin women it's the media's role which none of you acknowledge that perpetuate this division giving light skin, mixed, or racially ambiguous women preference. Don't tell me none of you see this. No shade from me on light skin as my mother whom I love dearly is a light skin BW and my father is dark brown skin similar to Matthew Knowles. But I do see discrimination especially as love interest in the media against dark skin women.
And now they big mad that 2 of the 3 beauty queens are mixed race. They are mad. I give up.
You gave me a LOT to think about wow!!!!
Some positivity for us all. Congratulations Miss USA 2019 a mixed-race lady ๐ฅณ๐

I just want to say the LSBW are extremely beautiful and always have better attitudes when receiving customer service from! Dark skin black women can be beautiful too but tend to be bigger victims of society which has a more negative impact on their personality and behavior which creates a negative perception of them. Which they equate to them having dark skin
You could uplift some darkskin people 100x a day….they will still hate your guts and talk shxt about you when it's all said and done so why even bother ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ I'm tired of trying to fix their insecurities!
I don't recall any of the dark skinned women with platforms based on colorism saying anything when Tasha K who has a pretty large platform started what she called the Sweetma challenge (Sweetma is a light skinned youtuber) and rewarded a dark skinned woman $500 after that woman put white powder on her face to mock Sweetma's light skinned complexion. This is how screwed up in the head I am as a light skinned woman, that challenge happened back in January and I knew it was wrong, but I should have said something. I don't remember seeing any light skinned women say anything back when that happened, nobody called Tasha or that dark skinned woman who put the white powder on her face on their colorism none of us stuck up for ourselves.
We have all been living together this whole time, we are actually talking about our own family
Woah what a great channel! โค๏ธ
That good black dont crack stuff is getting old.
Halle berry, lisa bonet, vanessa Williams, mariah carey.
That continues into non celebrities.
A lot of lightskin females have Native American, Black and white but overall having black genes in you regardless of how light. No black really cracks.
Rosa Parks was tough and a historic legend and she was mixed.
Light skinned black people are very beautiful in my opinion.โค๏ธ I'm a light skinned asian and I'm proud of my light skin. Dark skinned women feel they have to tear down any lighter skinned women regardless of their race to lift themselves up. I've been bullied by dark skinned women. They would say horrible things about my hair saying it's too flat oilly and feels like dog hair. I have asian hair and out hair falls flat. It is silky straight and jet black. It's really messed up how they feel they have to put me a light skinned women down to uplift themselves.
I'm a lightskin man from the Caribbean and I can say from experience that black ppl don't see us as equals , how can we co-exist with black ppl when they beat us over the head with your not black enough to black every chance they get especially lightskin guys
This entire video was very interesting. It seems like you donโt understand how hierarchyโs within systems work. If weโre under white supremacy you would easily say the colorism is a byproduct of that white supremacy. But at the same time youโre arguing the colorism is actually happening in the reverse. Does colorism exist or doesnโt it? Or does colorism only matter when it happens to you? Your arguments are very similar to what Iโve seen white people arguing that reverse racism is real. You think that people attempting to make notice of how light skin people receiving preferential treatment within the community is somehow saying that they are โsuperior.โ But within the context of a racial hierarchy would be the case. It only makes sense within the context which you keep trying to remove. Reverse colorism isnโt a thing. You should do more research on the stats affecting darker people before you make uninformed videos like this.
It's funny that you mention people lying on light skinned women, a very popular colorism Youtuber lied about what you said in this video, it's crazy. Anyway, I remember some time ago you asked in another video you made for us to leave a comment naming the times when a dark skin actor portrayed a light skin person in a movie or in television. Well this isn't exactly movie/television but the lead rapper/singer of Technotronic who had a hit song back in the 80's called pump up the jam was a light skin woman however a dark skin woman lip synched her part in the video for pump up the jam, also Madam CJ Walker stole the inventions of a light skinned woman by the name of Annie Malone and Madam CJ Walker is still credited for it till this very day.
The bottom line is mixed people are not black. They are not black. It takes two black people to make a black person. Now, if you donโt understand that light skinned people do not have privilege, then yโall ignorant. Just ask a white person. They would rather hire a light skin, period. Now on some instances, some white people may see you still as a nigger. But most of the time yโall get a pass. This been goin on since the beginning of time. Now, ok see objects……lol! Yโall funny. Property? Ugh! Your disgusting. Donโt give yourself that much credit. Let me say this, their are many light skin women who are fucked up. You may not be. But their are many sweetie. Many! I guess you just do not know. Right! You donโt fool me. Many many light skins are straight up horrible people. Just say thatโs not you. Leave it at that. You canโt speak for all light skin. You are on a pedestal. Your right. Your right. Iโm glad you admitted it. Go for it. Get you a white man. Do what you do. I love it. And we donโt hate ourselves. This country got us the way we are. Thatโs it. Itโs the way it is. So denying it wonโt help. Do you. Live your light skin life. I love that the truth finally comes out. It usually do eventually……..yโall funny
There is an ignored or undiagnosed form of mental illness that is prevalent in the black community. We constantly search for new ways to demonstrate how we are being discriminated against. We invent boogey men to explain our dysfunction.
You know what when i was talking to my cousins one of them brought it up about his comment! She made alot of sense really. Nipsy has two daughters one light and one brown! When YG said "light skin daughters" he was excluding his beautiful brown skin daughter. That opened my eyes she made sense why not just say daughters as a whole without excluding the brown daughter. So that really made me believe that maybe all he did see was color! Just my opinion of course.
Yes we sure can! ๐
Yall really was listening to darkskin people tell yall who yall are๐
great video and well said!!
Only if dsbp let go of self hate, ds supremacy, and hatred towards light skin. And they just focus on living their best life.
I'm a medium complexion black chick, and I think colorism is a scam. I support all shades of blackness, but I back Ls and mixed ethnicity people because of 2 reasons, 1) my kids are mixed and 2) the fact that Ls people are being used and abused like it's nobody's business. I'very seen Ls and intertribal people get beat up and bullied just because they existed and then they attack me for defending them, told me that "I didn't know my place, that I was to defend the darker end of the spectrum, even though I look like I'm dark skinned mixed, with that hair of yours" (dark auburn and wavy, smooth at the roots). Didn't even know their was even such a term. Got jumped a few times myself because I'm on the lighter side of the medium shades and won't see complexion as an issue or take sides. Either I see it their way or get my ass kicked. Sorry, but, I took the asswhooping. I fight for what's right and this mess ain't right. So, as you can see with what I just said, apparently, they don't know what they want, their place or who they really want on their side, just want to bitch and complain for the sake of bitching and complaining. That's why I believe that this is a scam to keep anyone lighter than caramel oppressed. Ds people are more "privileged" than anyone else in the black community, so I don't get it, and don't wanna get it.
I'm the color of honey or almond colored and never cared about complexion. You're gonna be labeled as black no matter where you go. Don't know why Ds women/people don't see that we're in this fight together. Just a bunch of no life having people, making up excuses for their failures and blaming everyone else. Ls and intertribal people are just the latest targets of their b.s.
Frankly I don't care if dark skins don't accept me. They love claiming us when it benefits them or makes them look better when it comes to racism and representation. Then they turn around and say light skin people don't belong in their spaces?! They want it both ways. Most of them are bitter and have an inferiority complex.
Coexist is a bad word because we belong in the same racial group i fell like a better word is can we ever get along
Have you heard the story about the African model who recently referred to African Americans as wild dogs? She's very dark skinned. It was hilarious to watch dark skinned AA women cry and feel confused by her statement. She didn't care they got offended either. I just rolled! LOL! When will our dark skinned AA women realize that skin color isn't what unites people. Culture does. Dark complexioned women of other cultures would not piss on dark complexioned AA women if they were on fire. But LS AA women would. Bc we are of the same culture and family.
Yea Iโm a mixed light skin girl and it gets rough. I used to argue with everyone to help dark skin people but I stopped.
Another maligned leader of current times: Shawn King, who at least IS on the front lines covering ๐ฎ-abuse stories, unlike most of his darker skinned critics yelling even louder than most white supremacists.
Maybe we should call it LSBME which means light skinned and biracial mass exodus. We just leave them to fend for themselves. Other than family members (who have their colorism in check, we owe them nothing.) When they appropriate our history we will give them boycotts they have never seen. When they do their bullying we will ignore them and initiate total silence. We only hire eachother, uplift, and support each other soon they will understand what it means to be left behind.
Unfortunately, I don't think they can. Until these colorism crybabies find self love and stop blaming light skinned people for their problems no peace will be had!!
Darkskin people hate lightskin people, but love white people, and other non black people, that's the truth.
If we separate where are the brown skins going, my mum is ligth skinned I am not leaving here
Ya know, 3 to 5 years ago I would have thought you had grown horns for asking something like this…โฆ.but watching the growth of a "cry baby's" platform and the commentators PURE VITRIOL toward light skin people IS starting to make me wonder.
Good morning ๐ ๐ beautiful video โฅ๏ธ
As much as we would like to continue to think it can happen the internet and real life is making it damn near impossible. i know deep down he majority of DSP don't have the mindset of the INTERNET trolls but in reality one groups upliftment is seen as the other groups downfall. how long are we expected to be punching bags without segregating is the real question?
Yes! if we drop this Resentment (I NEVER judge on Hue or Jealousy) ONLY ON CHARACTER! ……. (the ONLY people Trigger Are those Who want the" blk male gaze")
Please don't take down this channel.
Black people were just upset with Kapernick because he beat the system an came out winning..black people love a martyr especially when they are ls an biracial…Kapernick wasnt about that life๐..he wasnt a ls savior he was saving himself..so you know they were pissed..the brown paper bag test cut out a lot of bullshit..i bet those people in those circles had alot less stress….the only way for us to co exist with darkskin blacks is if we take their abuse..other then that no an the more ls an biracials start speaking up the worse its going to get
As resources become more scarce the compition will increase. Even white women are trying to look mixed. Although Iโm not in the USA even where I am we cannot exist. I live in the white part of town and Iโm happy.
LS people have always been used
The Negronatzis are creating this atmosphere of antagonism. When oppression from White racists was the imminent threat in the Black community, the Negronatzis had to whisper behind the scenes, but now they have become the main ideological threat. Just like Hitler used hatred of the Jews to get power and influence, the Negronatzis are using colorism against light skinned African-Americans to gain power and influence.
I remember watching dark girls and light girls, the documentary, and in the comments of dark girls were dark girls crying and giving their experiences. THEN! In the light girls comments it was โaww poor little pretty light skinned girlโ of course it was sarcasm. Or they would say you didnโt have it bad like us. They were terrible. I remember I commented and detailed my experiences, and boy oh boy was I attacked by 10 different women on YouTube!
"Some say the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice. I say the darker the flesh, then the deeper the roots." –Tupac Shakur, a man who stayed between the knees of many light-skinned and bi-racial women (Jada, Kidada Jones, Salli Richardson, etc.). We may not be black enough, but somehow our bodies are deemed as "ripe" (no pun intended) for the picking. I said it! Fight me!
Let's face it: tensions have always existed; the advent of social media (and its perpetual , not to mention deliberate misuse) has made things worse than it should be.
YG is right light skin females do get harass more than dark skin females. I get lifted by non blacks than blacks. Itโs depends on the dark skin person.
I see why the brown paper bag test was done also. I have noticed dsbw try to bully lsbw with passive aggression and sometimes just out right AGGRESSION. I have 2 black parents and I know who I am. I also know where my ancestors come from so being bullied by a dsbw would never work on me. I check them and distance myself quick. Many (not all) dsbw feel like they are the mother of the earth and lsbw should bow down to them. Lol I raise my ls daughters and ls grandaughter to love their skin color! I also teach them how UNIQUE their skin tone is and embrace the fact that we can literally tan 5-7 shades throughout the year if we choose. I love my skin tone and I encourage ALL lsbw to do the same! .๐โค๏ธ
Dark skin women are acting like monsters all over YouTube. Of course Nipsey and YG discussed protecting them from these agressive bullies. I can't believe people are taking colorism seriously ๐. Colorism has been debunked over and over again in America.
